Nazeer Sahaar embarked on a distinguished journey in the world of media after obtaining his degree from Kabul University's journalism faculty in 2005. Over the past two decades, his dynamic career has been marked by a spectrum of roles within Afghan media outlets, including journalist, reporter, project manager, editor, and broadcasting director.
Sahaar's influence doesn't stop at the confines of television and newspapers. As a seasoned author, he has penned several significant books that have garnered wide acclaim in the journalistic fraternity. Among his most notable works are "TV Journalism" and "NEWS," both recently embraced by readers.
In addition to his journalistic accomplishments, Sahaar possesses a profound understanding of the political and security landscapes of Afghanistan and Pakistan, with an emphasis on Waziristan and FATA. His writings shed light on the historical, geopolitical, and geostrategic facets of these regions. One of his most recent analytical pieces delves deep into the presence and activities of both Afghan and foreign militants in areas such as Waziristan, FATA, and Loya Paktia over the last twenty years.
From 2019 to 2021, the media world witnessed Sahaar at the helm of the esteemed Kubha Dialogue Research and Studies Center, further amplifying his prominence in the field.
