Bio
Mujahid S. Karimi is the Vice-Chair at INSAN Foundation for Media and Research. With a focus on fostering strong governance, the Vice-Chair assists in agenda planning, decision-making, and board member engagement.
Before his tenure at INSAN, Mujahid gained substantial experience in Afghanistan, serving in various roles across national and international nonprofits, the private sector, and governmental bodies. His notable positions include Managing Partner at Human Medical Labs, Chief Project Officer at SPALKIN, Project Management Consultant at INSAN Research Organization, and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Administrative Office of the President. His varied career encompasses areas of humanitarian aid, development, entrepreneurship, business, and governance. With a genuine passion for creating positive change, Mujahid leverages his diverse background, education, and technical skills for impactful results.
Mujahid has earned B.Sc., MD, and MPH degrees from prestigious national and international institutions. Additionally, he has attended various trainings and workshops, focusing on topics like project implementation, nonprofit management, research, and data analytics. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mujahid's proficiency in English, Pashto, Dari, and Urdu allows him to interact seamlessly across different cultures and communities.
