Leadership and Governance

INSAN aspires to establish itself as a prominent institution within Afghanistan's and related intellectual and academic spheres. Our governance is characterized by a well-organized and adept structure, designed to effectively manage our operations and initiatives.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is established with the primary responsibility of overseeing the research agenda, strategic planning, evaluation, and the development of operational foundations and theoretical activities. The BoD convenes periodically throughout the year to deliberate and make informed decisions on these matters.

Advisory Council

This is the advisory body of INSAN which brings people with diverse energy and experiences from the various fields of sciences and professions. We believe in inclusivity and diversity and INSAN admit that brightest minds can help the institution and its agenda to be more credible and impactful.

INSAN Magazine Editorial Board

The INSAN Magazine editorial board oversees all publishing content, including text materials, multimedia production, and other publishing content. The board comprises the editor-in-chief, text editors, contributing editors, and prominent and leading authors of the Magazine. They meet in a proper and timely manner to discuss and approve the content.

Policy Committees of INSAN

The Policy Committees at INSAN are appointed from its full membership to provide invaluable consultation on research and policies pertaining to various relevant domains. Every committee conducts an annual self-assessment, evaluating both its performance and the effectiveness of its charter.

Each Individual Policy Committee (IPC) comprises experienced, highly skilled, and well-educated professionals drawn from various corners of the institution, allowing them to fulfill their roles in a distinguished and widely recognized capacity.
